Wembley Stadium - UEFA EURO 2020 ⚽

Image
The year is 2019, almost a year since I graduated from University. As usual, I was trying to find an exciting, fun and, relevant job - ideally a paid position. In the meantime, I was working with Legends Report - an inspirational online Magazine mainly based on inspirational legends. I had been with them for a while, and as it was an unpaid role, I kept seeking a paid one in the process. That's when I came across a job that would boost my confidence even further, transform my perception of myself, the daily challenges and the slight fears which I've had about the employment industry or life overall. This job somehow gave me the reassurance I was searching for after graduation. It expanded my network, and I got to meet pleasant individuals, beginning with the management team to the interviewer scouts - all was an absolute delight. They made me feel welcomed and involved. Initially, though, I was slightly hesitant in conducting the role, but after a few discussions with the ...

The Misinterpreted Image of a Larger than Life Legend

Image
I've made discoveries & researched on a variety of matters, particularly on people for some time now. To be precise, it began in 2009 with Micheal Jackson.  I get intrigued or fascinated about someone or something then I start investigating or researching in great depth. Anyhow, no one has up until now fascinated or surprised me more than a well-known and highly admired rapper aka actor.  Unfortunately, he is no longer with us, yet he is still very much relevant and current even to this day! Before now, I would often hear his name and a bit about him. I guess the basic stuff, him being a well-established rapper, dearly loved, his iconic styles and conspiracy theories on him 'faking' his death (something that has spun about for ages). So as mentioned I only knew, the basics about this legend - nothing more, nothing less. However, recently, I decided to know more about this highly controversial yet gifted human being. I've always sensed there was something m...

Muhammad Ali: A Fighter For Freedom & Humanity

Image
By Diana Orfani, Legends Report Writer It’s not merely stardom that makes a legend such as Muhammad Ali an everlasting icon. We all as individuals may have the desire of leaving some sort of legacy behind. Ideally, one that is memorable and inspiring. Becoming a public figure and the fame that it brings is an aspect which a lot of celebrities have dreamt of and eventually achieved, especially in the world of showbiz and sports. Though becoming a truly legendary figure is a much greater accomplishment that very few are privileged to hold. Muhammad Ali can, in many people’s eyes, be held up as a perfect example of this - someone who fought fearlessly for the greater good, giving stardom and fame a new meaning and perspective. Having touched the lives of billions, Muhammad Ali was one of the finalists in the BBC’s search for the greatest person of the 20th Century - as part of a brand-new series ICONS. An individual who truly defined being ‘The Greatest’ and never backed...

Angelina's Nightmare - Alone & Helpless...

Image
I'm Angelina. I'm 18 years old. A damaged and fragile 18-year-old whose life changed two years ago. I was at my house in Wembley, and it was nighttime. I was home all by myself since my parents went out to attend a funeral. I was eagerly waiting for them to return as I was scared to be left alone in a grand house during the late hours of the night.  As I was waiting, I started to get very sleepy - my body felt exhausted. So, I closed my eyes and wrapped myself in a cosy blanket and dozed off to sleep. Half an hour later, I woke up to the sound of the doorbell. I presumed it was my parents, so I immediately got up and hurried down the stairs with relief. However, when I got to the door and opened it, there was no one there. I swiftly shut the door and began panicking and, my breathing got heavier.  I was petrified. My heart was beating rapidly to the point where I thought it would just stop and I would die. My blood was rushing, and my teeth stuttered, causing my body to sh...

The Struggles of a Graduate...

Image
Three years of hardcore concentration, tears, and constant hard work to obtain a BA degree and become a qualified journalist, a profession Diana longed for since acknowledging the value of education and realizing her potentials. She put a lot of effort into ensuring she succeeds and eventually graduates with a good grade. Diana is optimistic and has a positive approach towards nearly everything she does, including obtaining a degree and finding a job within her field of study. At the same time, she was still aware that accomplishing such a desire would not be that straightforward. Nonetheless, she never imagined it would be too draining and almost impossible either. It has become widely known that graduating with a degree does not guarantee a job relevant to the field of study. People like Diana feel the pressure of this even more as she not only has to fight her way through the employment industry, she has to deal with being 'unique' and persuade the hiring companies that s...

A Young Student got Viciously Attacked...then Stabbed to Death!!! On Friday morning, a teenager got mugged, near Wembley Park. His name was Yousuf, and he was 16 years old. He was walking to school while being fully occupied with his phone and all of a sudden, a strange-looking guy appeared out of nowhere, from behind. The stranger was dressed in a hoodie, blue - ripped up jeans and white trainers. He was demanding Yousuf's phone and wallet.  Yousuf froze out of fear. He was shocked and terrified - not knowing what to do. Out of fear, the 16-year-old reluctantly passed over his phone and wallet then attempted to escape the unknown stranger but unfortunately got stabbed by the violently, leaving him to bleed. Yousuf was known as a confident, friendly individual with an outgoing characteristic. The lad was studious, but he also enjoyed socialising with pals and having fun. At a tender age, he had a great interest in becoming a future successful business perso...

Preston Manor High School Banned Non-Uniform Day!

Image
The headteacher has decided to ban 'non-uniform day', and some of the students are profoundly upset and annoyed by this decision. The reasons for this sudden and unpleasant move may be down to the student's lack of concentration during lessons when they have the freedom to dress up for the day or forget to bring a £1. The majority of the pupils have always enjoyed wearing their choice of clothes even if it's for a day and make a real effort to look good in them. Again, this may be because they want to show their friends, feel more relaxed or like the idea of dressing up for a change. Nonetheless, it's all over now and strictly school uniform from now on. 2008-2013 What do you want to do ? New mail Copy What do you want to do ? New mail Copy What do you want to do ?
