2020's Message to the World: 'Life is Unpredictable & Way Too Short!'

I can't believe it's already 2020 and has started off containing tension, sadness as well as a shock - mainly involving death and unimaginable tragedy - nothing on a personal standard. Nonetheless, it still grasped my attention and evoked a mix of emotions, depending on the situation. Two occurrences were more on a global standard - captivating the world & one not so global. Though, all within the same month! 😕 Two out of the three startled and saddened me, particularly the latest one - giving me the reminder that life is way too short and being civil/friendly with a warm smile is the best approach in life. The most recent demises were of an established sports personality and his 13-year-old daughter. The basketball legend was an icon to many but, most importantly, a loving husband and a doting father. The iconic sports legend & his late daughter died in a helicopter crash - with no survivors as seven other poor souls also lost their lives and the vehicle completely...

The year is 2019, almost a year since I graduated from University. As usual, I was trying to find an exciting, fun and, relevant job - ideally a paid position. In the meantime, I was working with Legends Report - an inspirational online Magazine mainly based on inspirational legends. I had been with them for a while, and as it was an unpaid role, I kept seeking a paid one in the process. That's when I came across a job that would boost my confidence even further, transform my perception of myself, the daily challenges and the slight fears which I've had about the employment industry or life overall. This job somehow gave me the reassurance I was searching for after graduation. It expanded my network, and I got to meet pleasant individuals, beginning with the management team to the interviewer scouts - all was an absolute delight. They made me feel welcomed and involved.
