This may be a little early in the year (not according to some stores--their Christmas stuff is already up). But I've done a bit of research on the guy who inspired our modern-day Santa Claus. Was this man real or a legend?
Turns out there WAS someone named Saint Nicholas, born centuries ago, who was much more fascinating than the one we see in commercials and malls. His image today, and his actual life and deeds, are worlds apart. If you want to be inspired, read here:
